Everything we take on, and what’s covered

Whole bathrooms, shower rooms, wet rooms, en-suites, cloakrooms and all the trades that go with them, throughout Doncaster and the surrounding villages.

Whole-room refits

Everything comes out and the room gets rebuilt from the substrate up. Once the old suite and tiling are gone we deal with whatever’s been hiding behind them, then set the pipework out to suit how you want to use the room.

  • Full strip-out, carted away and disposed of
  • Supply and waste re-routed for the new arrangement
  • Boarding across the walls, tanking through the wet areas
  • Bath, shower, basin, WC, brassware and wastes
  • Tiling or panelling, plus the floor covering
  • Ceiling spots, extraction and a heated rail
  • Sealed, run, checked and cleaned before handover

Shower rooms

Nine times out of ten this starts with a bath nobody has climbed into for years. Once it’s gone the room feels twice the size, and in an ordinary bathroom the whole change takes days rather than weeks.

  • Bath lifted out and taken off site
  • Waste and supply moved to suit the tray position
  • Boarding and tanking behind everything that gets wet
  • Slimline trays with framed or frameless glass
  • Thermostatic valves, drencher heads and hand sets
  • Rails and lower thresholds if access is a factor

Wet rooms

Take the tray away entirely and the floor becomes the shower — tanked right through and sloped toward the outlet. Nothing to step over at all, which is why it’s the option we suggest most often where mobility is the issue.

  • Floor built up, sealed throughout and graded to fall
  • Recessed formers and slot drains
  • Tanking taken up the walls as well as across the floor
  • Warmth underfoot if you want it
  • Anti-slip and oversized floor formats
  • Fixed glass panels without frames

En-suites & cloakrooms

The smallest rooms need the most thinking. Which way the door opens, how much headroom there is beneath a staircase, whether the soil stack is anywhere near — settle those and a cramped space still works every single morning.

  • Arrangement worked around door swing and ceiling height
  • Quadrants and squares for genuinely tight corners
  • Hung units so the floor stays visible underneath
  • Shallow-projection pans and slimline basins
  • Under-stair WCs and downstairs cloakrooms
  • Mechanical extraction for internal rooms

Tiling, panelling & floors

This is the difference between a room that looks installed and one that looks considered. Lines struck off the centre, joints tracking dead straight, and grout and sealant ordered to match rather than grabbed off the shelf.

  • Porcelain in oversized formats, metro and mosaic
  • Stacked verticals and herringbone setting out
  • Full-height runs and single feature walls
  • Panelling when the priority is fewer days and less dust
  • Floor tile, LVT and sheet vinyl
  • Grout and sealant matched to the tile

One-item swaps

A fair few calls are about a single thing rather than a whole room. Something has given up, or it simply looks two decades old. We’ll change it over and leave everything around it exactly as it is.

  • Baths and bath panels
  • Showers and thermostatic valves
  • Basins, vanities and taps
  • Pans, cisterns and hidden frames
  • Traps and wastes that have started weeping
  • Towel rails and bathroom radiators

Included too

Things people don’t think to mention

A

Lights & extraction

Downlights, illuminated mirrors, shaver points and fans all wired while we’re in there. Saves you booking a sparky separately.

B

Warmth

Rails, radiators and underfloor mats installed at first fix, when the boards are still up and the runs are easy to get at.

C

Making good

The scar where old tiling finished, the ceiling above it, the corners nobody wants to touch — filled, skimmed and blended in.

D

Easier access

Flush floors, trays with next to no upstand, and rails anchored into something that will actually hold a person’s weight.

E

Choosing things

Send a picture of a room you like and tell us your ceiling figure. We’ll say what fits and what won’t in the space available.

F

Clearing away

All of it leaves with us. No skip parked outside your house for a fortnight and no trips to the tip in your own car.
